Last verified: October 24, 2026. BeamNG — v0.40 devblog, 19 October 2026

BeamNG’s PS5 launch coincided with v0.40 on 19 October 2026. The official index links v0.40.1, v0.40.2, and v0.40.3 by 22 October. This tracker separates explicitly PS5-tagged fixes, shared changes, and PC-only examples; it does not verify a console package number or rollout time.

Which known issues are still open?

BeamNG maintains a shared known-issues page rather than a PS5-only list. It includes PC driver, Steam Input, G HUB, and BeamMP items. Those entries do not establish native PS5 console bugs or fixes. A shared Time Trial checkpoint issue is listed, but PS5 reproduction is not documented here. Use explicit platform tags before applying any workaround.
