Every page on BeamNG.pro answers one question about BeamNG.drive on PlayStation 5. A number, date, or platform claim is printed only when the sources at the bottom of that page support it. If we have not checked it, the page says so.
A source-based guide must not invent first-person experience. Driving impressions, purchases, controller tests, and performance measurements require a documented session. Where no such evidence exists, the page attributes the claim to a source or states the remaining uncertainty.
What we count as a source
First-party pages are BeamNG’s news, documentation, and press release, plus the PlayStation Store listing for the product ID we name. A review or a preview is quoted as that outlet’s report, with its date. A single forum thread is one thread, not a consensus.
The FAQ is partially stale: it still describes PS5 as forthcoming and contains older platform and multiplayer answers. Use the dated launch announcement and v0.40 devblog for current status. For PS5 force feedback, use the explicitly PS5-tagged v0.40.2 note instead of PC-oriented controller advice.
What we leave out
We do not publish a Metascore while Metacritic says the score is still waiting on reviews. We do not publish a trophy guide without tiers. We do not publish an install size the store page does not show. We do not give instructions for copies outside the PlayStation Store and BeamNG’s own PC storefronts.
Concept illustrations and promotional media are not independent gameplay captures or tests. A rendered image cannot establish split-screen layout, frame rate, PS5 vehicle availability, or a tested controller setting. First-party footage must retain its platform attribution; an illustration must not be described as a screenshot or used as proof of a play session.
