BeamNG PS5 Release Date: Out Now

Last verified: October 24, 2026. BeamNG — PS5 release-date announcement, 24 September 2026

BeamNG.drive is out now in Early Access. BeamNG announced the PS5 date on 24 September 2026 and released the game on 19 October 2026 as v0.40. There is nothing left to count down.

The release date comes from BeamNG’s 24 September announcement and the PlayStation product’s release field. The 19 October devblog confirms the console launch alongside v0.40. These are dated source records, not a claim of playing at the moment the store unlocked.

When did BeamNG.drive come out on PS5?

Announcement: 24 September 2026. Release: 19 October 2026. The press release and the v0.40 devblog are both dated the launch day, and they describe the PS5 build shipping alongside the PC v0.40 update.

The official sources establish the date, not an exact unlock hour or preload policy. The game is already released, so a purchase decision should use the live store listing rather than an old countdown.

Why do some sites still say TBA?

The console date was public for 25 days before launch. A lot of older “is it coming to PS5” articles were written while the answer was still unannounced, and they were never edited. If a page has no date after 24 September 2026, it is behind the announcement, not ahead of it.

Questions

Is BeamNG coming to PS5?

It already did. Early Access started on 19 October 2026.

What version launched?

v0.40, with hotfixes v0.40.1 (20 October) and v0.40.2 / v0.40.3 (22 October).

What time did it unlock?

The first-party sources checked confirm 19 October 2026 but do not establish an exact unlock hour.

Is Early Access the same as a beta?

The store and BeamNG call the PS5 release Early Access. The pre-launch wait is over.

Did PC get the same update?

The v0.40 devblog covers the PC and PS5 release on the same day. Some later hotfix lines are PC-only. See the update tracker.

Is a PS4 release date listed?

No. The store platform field I read is PS5.
