Is BeamNG on PS4? No
Last verified: October 24, 2026. PlayStation Store — BeamNG.drive (US), captured 24 October 2026
No. BeamNG.drive is not on PS4. The PlayStation Store product I read on 24 October 2026 lists PlayStation 5. There is no PS4 SKU and no backwards-compatible PS4 download.
| PS4 availability | No PS4 version announced |
|---|---|
| PlayStation listing | PS5 native game, not a PS4 download |
| PS4 Pro | Cannot install the PS5 version |
The relevant evidence is the PS5 platform field and the PS5 launch announcement. No PS4 release is announced in those sources. This guide does not claim a test installation on PS4 or a technical explanation from BeamNG for excluding it.
Has BeamNG explained a PS4 exclusion?
BeamNG has not published a sentence that says “we will not ship on PS4.” The evidence is the store platform field plus silence. I am not going to dress that up as a quote that does not exist.
No technical reason for excluding PS4 is established in the sources cited here. Inferring a CPU limitation would not turn it into a developer explanation. A PS5-native product does not install on PS4 or PS4 Pro.
What can I play instead?
Buy the PS5 version if you have a PS5 or PS5 Pro. Buy the PC version if you have a computer that meets BeamNG’s PC notes. Do not install a “PS4 BeamNG” file from a video description. Those are not a product BeamNG sells.
